This last section, between the Forra della Rocchetta and the mouth, is about 12 km long and has an average width of 25 metres.<\/p>\n

\nTRACT D1 The upper stretch has a lower flow rate, is mainly populated by “difficult” mormorant trout and for a stretch of about 600 m (zone DK) is regulated by special limits (limited catch and use of artificial bait only).
\nTRACT D2 The approx. 8 km downstream stretch of the canal is subject to daily and weekly variations in flow rates due to the activity of the Mezzocorona hydroelectric power station. The environment is characterised by the presence of artificial embankments, but the bottom consists of wide gravel beds, an ideal habitat for grayling. The protected Rupe biotope, in the vicinity of the bridge of the same name, constitutes an almost intact river environment, a picture of what this river must have looked like not more than a hundred years ago. In the biotope, it is only possible to fish in a section of the left bank (see signposts). This area is renowned for grayling fishing, which are present in large numbers in the Adige and in the terminal section of the Noce, particularly in the spring months during the ascent for spawning (ban on catching: 1 March – 30 April). Further upstream and particularly in the deep holes of the biotope, trout, both marmorated and brown trout, and chub are more numerous. All fishing techniques are valid, including dry or submerged flies and natural bait. At high levels, it is best to go spinning or camel fishing.
